Theresa Elizabeth Vischio, 77, wife of Edward Vischio of Hamden, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 8, 2009 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. She was born in New Haven on March 7, 1932 to the late Frank and Mary Maselli Consiglio. Besides her husband, Theresa leaves her siblings; Frances Massaro and her husband Anthony of Branford, Salvatore Consiglio and his wife Angela of North Haven, Rose Siniscalchi and her husband Joseph of North Haven, Ann Kossack of Lady Lake, FL and William Consiglio and his wife Linda of Hamden; also her nieces and nephews. Theresa grew up in New Haven before moving to Hamden with her beloved husband. She was a parishoner of St. Ann's Church, where she also devoted time to the soup kitchen. She had a love for flowers and plants and enjoyed gardening. We love you and will miss you terribly. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Monday, July 13th at 10:30, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann's Church at 11:00.
