Dr. Thomas Duncan, beloved husband of Jean K. Duncan of North Haven died peacefully Sept. 15, 2008 in the comfort of his home with his family. He was born in New Haven on April 14, 1923, son of the late John McGill and Rose Scully Duncan. He is survived by his loving daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Jimi Rosen, and the light of his life, grandson, Duncan Rosen all of Miami, FL and Washington, CT. Dr. Duncan graduated with a B.A. degree from Clark University, Masters Degree from Boston University and PhD from New York University. He was a recognized child psychologist, professor and author. He was a veteran of WW II in the U.S. Army. The family would like to thank Dr. Jeremy Nadelmann, the nurses and home health caregivers and Chaplain Rose of Hospice in Branford for their care and kindness. Funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.A period of mourning will be observed at the Rosen family home, 304 Nettleton Hollow Rd., Washington, CT through Friday.
