Thomas Gaitano Gianfriddo, 83, of New Haven, partner of over 57 years to the late Frank Taylor, passed away on March 24, 2018. He was born in Hartford on July 9, 1934 to the late Louis and Lucy Veneziano Gianfriddo. He is survived by his nephews; Thomas Sincavage Jr., and Louis and John Gianfriddo, nieces Lisa Gionfriddo and Carol Gianfriddo, sister-in-law Ann Gionfriddo, and former sister-in-law Antoinette Gianfriddo. Thomas is predeceased by his sisters Patricia Criscuolo, Lucille Gianfriddo, and Angelina Sincavage, brothers Emanuel Gionfriddo, Lucio Gianfriddo, and niece Louanne Gionfriddo. After serving in the Army during the Korean War from 1957-59, Tom moved to the upper west side in NYC, where he discovered his love of art. He later returned to New Haven and went on to work as a travel agent for Fugazy Travel, now WorldTek Travel, for many years until his retirement. Tom loved traveling, especially to Amsterdam, where he leaves many dear friends. He loved art and was an amazing cook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday April 3 at 11am in St. Stanislaus Church on State St., New Haven. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the church. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
