Trelson Lusanos Mapp, 40, of Barrouallie, St. Vincent, Grenadines, passed away in Hamden, Connecticut on October 19, 2020 after a courageous battle with Leukemia. Born in St. Vincent on July 11, 1980, a son of the late Kenroy and Maria Wickham Mapp, he is survived by his loving sisters; Zinnee Whiteman, Salene Mapp, and Petra Hope, many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, his Church family, and dear friends. After receiving a Bachelor's Degree from the University of the West Indies in Barbados, and Master's Degree from the University of Bradford in England, Trelson went on to work as an Economist for The St. Vincent Government in The Ministry of Works & Finance. He was a devoted member of the New Dimension & Ebenezer Seventh Day Adventist Church in Brooklyn, and Barrouallie Seventh Day Adventist Church in St. Vincent. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for the tremendous care they provided Trelson during his time there.
