Meriden- Tressie M. Dudley , 94, wife of the late George Dudley passed away on Monday, September 29, 2008 at Coccomo Healthcare Center. She was born April 18, 1914 in McIntyre, Georgia a daughter of the late Jackson and Udoxie (Cross) Lewis. Tressie had worked AGC Inc, was a member of the Meriden Senior Center as well as a volunteer and was also a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. She is survived by a nephew Joseph Outlaw Sr. , one grandson and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Leon Dudley, three sisters, Ella Ellayop, Thelma Blue and Minnie Versie Outlaw and two brothers, Cory Lewis and Willie Cannan.A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Willie Young will officiate. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 9-11am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Meriden Senior Citizen's Center, 22 West Main St., Meriden, CT 06451.
