Val Stanford In Branford, March 22, 2002, Val Stanford of 8 High Meadow Rd., North Haven. Wife of the late Edward J. Stanford, Jr. Born in New Haven on January 23, 1922, she was the mother of Monica Stanford Emanuelson of North Haven and grandmother of Elizabeth Stanford Emanuelson. Funeral from BEECHER AND BENNETT, 2300 WHITNEY AVE., HAMDEN on Tuesday, March 26, at 9:30 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10 A.M. Friends may call Monday from 6 - 8 P.M. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Edward J. Stanford Heart Center Peer Visitor Program in memory of Val Stanford, in care of the Development Office, Yale-New Haven Hospital, 20 York St., New Haven, CT 06504.
