In New Haven, Friday, February 8, 2008, Valerie Degley, 57, of West Haven. Mother of Lauren Feldman of Somerville, MA, Valerie is also survived by sister Sheryl Amatruda Kurt of East Haven, two grandchildren Orli and Zev Feldman of MA and two nephews Dustin Blake and Lawrence Degley. She was predeceased by brothers Lawrence and Joseph Degley. A daughter of the late Louis and Helen Hotchkiss Degley, Valerie was born in Jersey City, NY on Feb. 20, 1950. She had been a staff assistant at Yale University for 15 years. Arrangements are private and under the direction of BEECHER & BENNETT-TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME, 410 CAMPBELL AVE., WEST HAVEN.
