Virginia A. "Ginny" Mitchell, age 79 of Wallingford passed away December 21, 2024. Born in New Haven on June 17, 1945 she was a daughter of the late Irving Mitchell, Sr. and Mary (Wright) Mitchell. Ginny is survived by her beloved brother Irving "Mitch" Mitchell Jr and his wife Kathie of Cheshire; her sister Grace Graham of Florida and several nieces, grand nieces and a nephew. Ginny was a resident of the Marrakech Group Home in East Haven for many years. Her family would like to thank the Marrakech Inc.Community and Masonicare in Wallingford for her care and compassion she received in her time of need.
All may attend her Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025 at 10:00 am in St Paul the VI Parish / Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 2819 Whitney Ave, Hamden. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home, Hamden.
