Pastor Virginia N. Zorian, age 87, formerly of Hamden, passed away on February 27, 2017 at Regal Care of New Haven. Born in Boston, MA on December 6, 1929 she was a daughter of the late Myron & Annie (Sefanian) Nashanian. Virginia was the widow of Byron Zorian; mother of Edward Zorian of Hamden, Philip Zorian & his wife Marjorie of Westmanchesterfield, NH and the late Dorothy Ann Zorian; grandmother of Hannah Zorian & Isabelle Block and sister of the late Betty Haroutunian & Florence Garabedian. A resident of Hamden most of her life she was formerly employed at Pratt & Whitney in North Haven before her retirement. Virginia enjoyed to practice her ministry, many times holding events from her own home. Friends may attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM in BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden and may also visit with her family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment will take place in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
