Vito Girolomo, age 94, passed away at his home on June 28, 2012. Vito was the husband of Marie Pedicini Girolomo. Born in New Haven on January 29, 1918, he was a son of the late Joseph & Jennie LaRocco Girolomo. Vito was a WWII Army Veteran and a retiree from the Railroad after 45 years of employment. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Linda & her husband Arthur Baltayan of New Haven; his sons, Harry & his wife Beverly Girolomo of Hamden and Richard & his wife Ruth Girolomo of Cheshire; his grandchildren, David (Nicole) Girolomo, Kimberly (Craig) Pepe and Christine (Billy) Reilly; his cousin Josephine Mosco of Hamden and 4 great grandchildren. Vito was predeceased by a brother and 2 sisters. His family would like to thank the staff of St. Raphael Hospital & Hospice for his care in his time of need.
