Longe, Viva LaFountain In New Haven, Oct. 9, 2001, Viva LaFountain Longe, 89, of 403 Painter Dr., West Haven, wife of the late Chester A. Longe. Mother of Diane Tuderios of Twin Falls, ID and Chester Longe, Jr. of West Haven, sister of Nathan LaFountain of Swanton, VT and the late Dorcas Farrar, Bernace Manning, Hilda McMahon and Gordon LaFountain. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Viva was born in Montgomery, VT, July 25, 1912 a daughter of the late Clifton and Blanche Mason LaFountain. She had worked in the dietary services department at the Hospital of St. Raphael for 11 years and also was a cook at the former Methodist Church Home in West Haven. She was a 50 year member of the First United Methodist Church of West Haven.
