MERIDEN - Wesley J. Kantack, Jr., 73, formerly of Cheshire Road, South Meriden, died Wednesday, August 29, 2001, at Westfield Care and rehabilitation Center. Born in Meriden Sept. l4, 1927, he was the son of the late Wesley J. and Dorothy Mae Schwenk Kantack, Sr. He attended local schools and was employed by the Highway Dept., City of Meriden. He was a member of the South Meriden Trinity United Methodist Church and a lifelong member of the South Meriden Volunteer Fire Department. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Beecher and Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. The Rev. Susan DeSousa will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
