Wilfredo Badillo Morales

Wilfredo Badillo Morales, 75, of Meriden passed away on September 21, 2026, with family by his side. Born in Puerto Rico on January 13, 1951, to the late Manuel and Sofia Badillo Morales.

After moving to Meriden at age 17, he became a machinist working for Pratt and Whitney and retired from Marlin Firearms. Before long, Wilfredo met his future wife, Poly Muniz, to whom he was married for 50 years.

Besides his wife, Wilfredo will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Wilfredo, Jr. (Julie), Mario (Kathryn), and Daniel Morales; grandchildren, Damien, Skye, Benny, Amelia, and Delilah; great-granddaughter, Luca; brothers, Evelio and Ismael Morales; and sister, Brunilda Morales. Predeceased by his brother and sister, Edinelson and Gloria Morales.

Wilfredo’s favorite pastimes were fishing, watching the Yankees, and family gatherings. He will be remembered for his fun personality, always being the life of the party and a father figure to many.

Friends are invited to visit with his family on Monday, September 28th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Ave., Meriden. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish-Holy Angels Church, 585 Main St., South Meriden at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
