William 'Bill' P. Finnell, of Hamden, passed away on Sept. 18, 2015. Born in New Haven on May 20, 1958 he was a son of the late Raymond A. Finnell, Jr & Julia Crean Finnell. Bill is survived by his sister Liz Finnell and his brothers Robert J. Finnell & Michael R. Finnell all of Hamden. He was employed by the former Northeast Printing Company in North Haven prior to his employment at GHP Media Company of West Haven. A resident of Hamden all his life he always enjoyed his camping and fishing and many trips to Cape Cod. Bill was an avid New York Giant & Yankee fan and a member of Trout Unlimited Club & the NRA. Bill will be greatly missed by his sister Liz and brothers Robert & Michael. Friends may visit with his family at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden on Wednesday, Sept, 23, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and may attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, Circular Ave, Hamden.
