William E. Hunt, III

William Edward Hunt, III, 59, of Middletown, passed away on July 22, 2026. Born on January 11, 1967, in Meriden, he was the son of the late Joyce (Frey) Hunt and William E. Hunt, Jr.

William will be lovingly remembered by his son, William Hunt, IV; his sisters, Deborah Hunt and Sherry Hunt Prescott; his nieces, Amanda and Samantha; and nephew, Tyler.

Affectionately known as Bill, he had a lifelong passion for classic cars-especially Mopar-along with a deep appreciation for history, cooking, fishing, and animals. Bill was known for his quick wit, constant joking, and the good-natured pranks he loved to play on friends. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his son.

Bill’s spirit, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
