In Hamden, Dec. 6, 2000, William A. Jagger, 84, of 28 Elihu St., husband of the late Eleanor Stallard Jagger. Father of William S. Jagger of Melbourne, Australia and Paul E. Jagger of Goshen. Brother of John Jagger of Dallas, TX and Ruth Jagger Tolman of West Yarmouth, MA. Also survived by 2 grandchildren. Born in New Haven Nov. 25, 1916 son of the late John and Carrie VanSickles Jagger, he retired from the S.N.E.T. Co after 40 years as a Transmisson Specialist. A Veteran of WWII serving in the Coast Guard. Friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Monday morning Dec. 11 from 11:00 to 12 Noon, followed by prayers at 12 Noon. Burial will be private.
