Wolfgang "Carl" Schwarzkopf, 90, passed away at St. Raphael's Hospital on August 4, 2017. Born in Munich, Germany on November 28, 1926 to the late Arthur and Anna Butz Schwarzkopf. Carl was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy Clark Schwarzkopf and their son, Frederick. He was a proud WWII US Army Veteran. Carl was employed by Pratt & Whitney for 40 years and lived in Killingworth prior to moving to Hamden in 1957. He was a member of the Hamden Grange #99 and AARP. Carl is survived by his son, Eric (Martha) Schwarzkopf; dear friend, Stephanie (Jeffrey) Jalbert; grandson, Alexander Schwarzkopf; granddaughters, Hannah and Emily Jalbert; sister, Troutie Schwarzkopf; cousins, Erica Schwarzkopf and Colleen Schwarzkopf; good friends, Bob and Milly Donahue. Friends may visit with his family on Friday, August 11th from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave, Hamden followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors to take place in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
