Obituary

Suddenly in Hamden, Nov. 2, 2000, Yolanda DeBrigita Vitale 84, of 680 Mix Ave. wife of the late Angelo Vitale. Mother of Angelo G. Vitale of Hamden, sister of the late Theresa Pulciani, Philomena Rao, George and Albert DeBrigita. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Hamden, September 4, 1916 a daughter of the late Raffael and Maria DeCenzo DeBrigita. She was a dress maker for 45 years at various dress shops. She retired in 1978 from the Mode Manufacturing Co. after 26 years. She had lived in Hamden since 1973, she previously lived in West Haven for 26 years and New Haven for 31 years. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union retirees union, the Jolly Time Seniors and the Annex Seniors. Funeral from BEECHER & BENNETT, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Sat. Nov. 4 at 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Ascension, Hamden at 10:00 am. Friends may call Friday (TODAY) from 4 - 8 pm. Entombment in St. Lawrence Mausoleum, West Haven.
